Norwegian Spirit was launched in 1998 as SuperStar Leo and transferred to Norwegian Cruise Line in 2004. It has a length of 879 feet and a gross tonnage of 75,904. Norwegian Spirit is perfect for family cruisers as it has interconnecting staterooms and good facilities and programs for children. It carries 2,018 passengers and 912 crew.

There are 988 staterooms on board Norwegian Spirit in a range of categories, from 149 square feet interior cabins to the 605 square feet Owners Suite with a large balcony. Standard cabins have limited storage space. All staterooms have a safe and cotton towels and linen. Family cabins accommodate up to four passengers.

There are 14 different dining destinations on board Norwegian Spirit. The main dining rooms offer a menu that changes daily. Garden Cafe is a casual buffet. For French cuisine, guests can make reservations for dinner at the Le Bistro. La Trattoria offers Italian dishes. For guests who love premium steaks and seafood,  CagneyÂ’’s Steakhouse is reservation-only. Japanese hibachi speciality dishes are offered at Teppanyaki. The Blue Lagoon Café offers 24-hour fast food. For an English pub and grill experience, guests can visit  HenryÂ’’s Pub.

Norwegian Spirit offers various ways for their guests to relax and stay healthy. The spa offers services like sauna, massage and thalassotherapy and there is a full-service beauty salon. The fitness centre has a full range of exercise machines and an aerobics studio. There is a combined sports court, golf nets and a jogging tracks on deck 13.

Norwegian Spirit has plenty to keep kids of all ages entertained. The Splash Academy has interactive games, an arts and crafts area and creative theme nights just for kids. It is next to Buccaneer’s Wet & Wild pool, which has slides, a paddling pool and a hot tub just for kids. For teens, there is a video arcade and Celebrity Teen Disco with video, jukebox, bar fooseball and air hockey.
