Norwegian Pearl was built in 2006 and underwent refurbishing projects in 2017. It has a length of 965 feet and a gross tonnage of 93,530. Norwegian Pearl is the third Jewel-class vessel in the fleet owned by Norwegian Cruise Line. The casual, family-friendly ship appeals to cruisers of all ages with a wide range of restaurants and day and night activities, including a four-lane bowling alley. It has 12 passenger decks and carries 2,394 passengers and 1,072 crew.

There are 1,197 staterooms on Norwegian Pearl in 35 different categories, ranging from 138 square feet inside cabins to the three-bedroom Haven Garden Villa Suites which measure 4,252 square feet. The Haven is a private enclave at the top of the ship which offers the most luxurious accommodation with 24-hour butler service, concierge and a private sundeck. The standard cabins have ample storage space and various amenities (salon-style hairdryer, mirrored vanity tables, telephones, mini-fridge, flat-screen television and writing table).

There are many different dining destinations on board Norwegian Pearl. Indigo and the Summer Palace are the main dining rooms and provide freestyle dining (no set tables or times). Other complimentary dining venues include the Great Outdoors and Garden Café for buffet meals and Lotus Garden for Asian dishes. There are also a number of specialty restaurants, including: Le Bistro (French cuisine); La Cucina (Italian); CagneyÂ’’s Steakhouse (premium steaks); Teppanyaki and Sushi (Japanese); and Moderno Churrascaria (Brazilian).

Norwegian Pearl offers various ways for their guests to relax and stay healthy while traveling. The Mandara spa complex offers various services and amenities such as thermal suites, saunas, steam rooms, treatment rooms and beauty salon). The Body Waves Fitness Centre has state-of-the-art machines, floor-to-ceiling windows and offers aerobics, spinning and exercise classes. There is also giant chess, a jogging track, combined sports court, rock-climbing wall, shuffleboard and a bowling alley.

Norwegian Pearl has plenty to entertain cruisers of all ages. For younger children, The Splash Academy has lots of open space for active games, an arts and crafts area and creative theme days. It is right next to the Children’s Splash Pool. For teenagers, Metro Centre is designed to look and feel like the New York Subway, there’s even graffiti on the walls. It has air hockey, video games, jukebox and fooseball. There is also a video arcade.
