Great cruise itineraries transform your days of exploring into timeless memories that will forever live entwined with your heart. Great cruise ships make your sea days every bit as good.

Celebrity Beyond sells itself as the ultimate European holiday, and it makes a very convincing case. With a range of itineraries across Europe, you can guarantee days of amazing adventure, as well as authentic culture and cuisine, but the ship itself is so decked out that you’ll have to fight yourself to get off and start exploring the beautiful ports.

Take this 10-night Italy, Croatia & Montenegro sailing out of Rome, across 10 days of sailing you’ll visit a range of ports from the wood-fired pizza of Naples to the marbled avenues and medieval feel of Kotor, Montenegro. Then you’ll also have two sea days, which could be spent nurturing and nourishing yourself, soaking up all the entertainment onboard or anything in between.

The itinerary

With four different departure dates through 2023, you can pick your preferred dates for European exploration at your leisure, with the 10-night sailing starting from $2468 per person for an inside cabin.

A roundtrip out of Rome, your first stop will be at Olympia in Greece, where you’ll walk the hallowed turf that birthed the Olympic games. The town is a haven for history buffs but there’s also the beautiful Kouroutas Beach if you just want to unwind, or the beautiful port town of Katakolon where you can help yourself to some local delicacies.

After Olympia you’ll move onto the bright blue shores of Corfu, where beautiful cobblestoned streets and turquoise-tinted water spar with each other as attractions of man made versus natural beauty.

As you move on from Greece, you’ll next lay eyes on the walled city of Dubrovnik in Croatia, your day will be a choice of picturesque pebbled beaches, freshly-prepared seafood, climbing to the famous viewpoints of the town or whatever else you desire.

Next will be Kotor in Montenegro where the streets feel like a time capsule, as you walk the winding roads crafted with medieval architecture. With acclaimed local cuisine and a charming town packed full of surprises, it’s the perfect day out.

You’ll still have three more threats before its time to kiss Celebrity Beyond goodbye, with a triple Italian threat of Sicily, Naples and Florence for your final three ports. The destinations need little introduction but whether you’re a first-time visitor or lived there your whole life, you’d never run out of new nooks to explore.

In Tuscany you can treat yourself to a special Castelmola, Wine Tasting and Cannoli shore excursion, where you’ll be transported to the comforting town of Castelmola, with views of Mt Etna complimenting your local wine and cannoli tastings.

For the rest of your time and the other sea day, every corner of the ship has something else waiting for you.

The ship is optimally designed to offer you the best panoramic views of the ocean wherever possible, giving you the best vantage points to take in the beautiful European coastline. Heading to the Rooftop Garden and Resort Desk will get you just that, and so will the main open deck which is 40% larger than previous Celebrity ships. You’ll find live music, outdoor dining, outdoor cinema and a front-row seat to the twice-a-day show of the sunrise and sunset.

You’d be remiss not to spend some time on the iconic Magic Carpet, hoisted stories above the sea as you dine, sip and converse. There’s also the gorgeous multi-level Sunset Bar, the 50 rare craft beers and kobe beef sliders of the Craft Social Bar and 18 dining venues for your culinary cravings.

While this only scratches the surface of what this vessel has to offer, you can be sure that you’ll look forward to your days on the ship, just as much as your days off it.
