Onboard art collection
Viking Ocean’s ship interiors are designed to inform. Each of the identical sister ships is adorned with its own unique, specially commissioned art collection. This collection include art pieces from contemporary artists. Additionally, the ships also feature replicas of unique pieces, from oil paintings and photographs to sculptures and tapestries. Moreover, Viking is the proud custodian of the largest private collection of artworks by Norway’s much-loved expressionist painter Edvard Munch. Thanks to the line’s exclusive partnership with Oslo’s Munch Museum. Viking also have the digital rights to the entire Munch Catalogue.
