MSC starts construction of private island

The premium Italian cruise brand, MSC has started construction of their private island. Located in the Bahamas, the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve is set to become a natural paradise to MSC Cruises guests from November 2018. Speaking at a special ceremony earlier this week, MSC’s head of global port development Gianluca Suprani said it will be a haven for guests visiting. “The island has some of the finest aragonite sands in the world and once the work is completed, its surrounding waters will be home again to beautiful corals and rich aquatic life. It will become a truly exclusive destination for MSC Cruises guests to experience the best the Caribbean has to offer.” MSC Seaside and others in the fleet operating in the Caribbean will regularly call at the island.
