Regent, one of the world’s leading luxury cruise lines, has unveiled “Iconic Explorations” offering guests a wider choice of free, multi-day land excursions on sailings in Europe and Alaska next year.
The offer is available on 85 sailings with itineraries ranging from seven to 32 nights and must be booked before 31 August 2024.
Under the Iconic Explorations program, guests can select from 18 land excursions which have been tailor-made to complement the cruise itineraries. They can explore historic cities such as Baku, Budapest and Prague which are not accessible by ocean cruise ships. Destinations include Alaska, Spain, the UK and Slovenia.
Highlights of the Iconic Explorations Collection include:
Northwest Wonders – exploring Seattle before crossing into Canada to discover Victoria or the wilds of Whistler before cruising to Vancouver.
The Silk Road to Baku – travel back in time on a three-night Silk Road journey and spend time roaming in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijian which served as the crossroads between the East and West.
Landmarks of Ljubljana, the capital and largest city of Slovenia with visits to Lake Bled and its castle. Explore the Postojna Cave and marvel at the medieval Predjama Castle.
Authentic Madrid and Beyond – discover Spain’s capital city Madrid, Sergovia and many World Heritage sites in-between.
Flavours of Budapest – explore Budapest and its countryside. Experience the city’s renowned thermal bath, cruise the Danube and dine on traditional fare.
London & Charming Cotswolds – discover hip and historic spots of London followed by Britain’s rich countryside in the Cotswolds.
Classic Copenhagen – explore Copenhagen’s landmark attractions. Travel outside the capital city to discover Egeskov Castle, cosmopolitan Odense and the fishing village of Dragor.
Swedish Smorgasbord – wander through the royal residence, Drottningholm Palace and the country’s old main streets. Make sure to call at the museum which celebrates the popular 70’s pop group ABBA.
