Cruisers can expect to pick up some incredible bargains at the second National Cruise Week, beginning September 2.

MSC Cruises’ ‘take a friend for a dollar’ deal is just one among many offers during this year’s event, which Cruise Lines International Association general manager Brett Jardine expects to be bigger and better than ever.

Running from 2-9 September, up to 30 cruise lines have designed exclusive discounts for the event and for the first time this year specialist cruise wholesalers have also stepped in to provide cruise, air and accommodation packages.

Scores of agencies are organising special events for customers, including morning tea and get togethers so they can meet with a cruise expert. The events are listed on the National Cruise Week website at
