Princess Cruises President John Padgett said; “Celebrating the inauguration of a new cruise ship is a time-honoured maritime tradition.”

“Captain Danaher, Dr Ferrini and Ms Austin have made (a significant contribution) to ocean conservation and stewardship. The world’s oceans are our livelihood and ‘home’ to more than 25,000 employees who service millions of guests on cruise holidays each year.”
