The new Celebrity Flora, the new expedition ship from Celebrity Cruises, will feature top deck ‘glamping’ when she starts sailing in 2019.

You’ll be able to spend the night in two luxury cabanas as part of the Galapagos Glamping experience – one is fitted with a double bed for snoozing and the second is designed for dining. You will also have a naturalist on hand to highlight the stars and constellations.

“Celebrity Flora was specifically designed to bring our guests closer to the Galapagos Islands than ever before — from its outward-facing design that takes guests to the water’s edge, to the enhanced custom-designed Novurania yacht tenders,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO for Celebrity Cruises.

“And now our new Galapagos Glamping experience gives guests an incredible opportunity to experience the destination the ship was built for, on a whole new level, under the millions of stars above.”

The experience comes with a full dinner with specialised cocktails, wines and you’ll also get breakfast in bed. Four guests can be booked by up to four people and available upon request for a few on every Celebrity Flora sailing and her itineraries will alternate between 10 and 11-nights from Baltra year-round.

Some of the other features onboard include The Vista which is an open-air lounge with cabanas, cocoon-style chairs as well as a hot tub; the outdoor Ocean Grill which serves local ingredients and seafood as well as plenty of zodiacs to shuttle you to shore.
