Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas currently under construction is said to be the world’s largest cruise ship.

The cruise liner released new photos of the ship’s construction at the STX shipyard in St. Nazaire, France. At 361 meters Harmony of the Seas will be taller than the Eiffel Tower and Dubai’s Burj Al Arab.

The 227,000 tonne ship will be completely ready in April 2016 to carry 5,497 passengers and 2394 crew members. Larger than its sister ships Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas will also feature 2747 staterooms and large water slides located at sports zone.

The teaser video of Harmony of the Seas on Royal Caribbean’s website talks about the cruise liner being the biggest and boldest cruise adventure for families and travellers featuring the largest water slide, a bionic bar, an array of restaurants and the fastest internet at sea.

Harmony of the Seas will sail the Mediterranean from Barcelona, Spain arriving at her homeport of Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November 2016. Check itinerary here
