Madeleine

Madeleine is one of three new hotel barges launched by CroiseEurope in 2014. It has two decks and carries 22 passengers and five crew along the Marne-Rhine Canal across the plain of Alsace and the Vosges, in northwest France.

Accommodation

There are 11 cabins on board, all with a window, ensuite bathroom with shower, television, radio, telephone (for internal calls only), safe and independent air-conditioning.

Food

Meals on board are offered in a single sitting and feature French and international cuisine. Complimentary wine, beer, fruit juice and coffee are offered with lunch and dinner.

Activities

There is a spacious lounge with bar, a restaurant, sun deck with loungers and parasols, a barbecue deck and a Jacuzzi at the prow of the barge. Bicycles are available for passengers to use.

Families

There are no facilities specifically for children on board, but children aged two to nine years receive a discounted fare.
