MS Jeanine was built in 1985 and fully renovated in 2013, transforming it into one of the most modern barges in operation today, according to operator CroisiEurope. The 128 foot river barge cruises canals through the Saône-et-Loire and La Côte d’Or regions of France and offers English-speaking cruises. MS Jeanine has two decks and carries 22 passengers and five crew.

There are 12 cabins on MS Jeanine, each measuring 97 square feet. All of the cabins have a window, ensuite bathroom with shower, television, radio, telephone (for internal calls only), safe and independent air-conditioning.

Meals on board are offered in a single sitting and feature French and international cuisine. Complimentary wine, beer, fruit juice and coffee are offered with lunch and dinner.

There is a spacious lounge with bar, a restaurant, sun deck with loungers and parasols, a barbecue deck and a Jacuzzi at the prow of the barge. Bicycles are available for passengers to use.

There are no facilities specifically for children on board, but triple cabins are available and children aged two to nine years receive a discounted fare.
