A family from Kentucky in the USA had their holiday plans ruined after what seemed like a harmless social post ended up resulting in the cancellation of their cruise.
P&O Australia, a cruise line that began sailing out of Sydney in 1932, will bring its decorated history to a close as it is absorbed into the Carnival Cruises brand. This absorption, and particularly the retiring of Pacific Explorer might signal that we are nearing the end of seeing major cruise lines port out of cities that aren't Sydney or Brisbane.
