Viking has unveiled its 2023-24 World Cruises on Viking Sky and Viking Neptune which will offer identical 138-day itineraries sailing to 28 countries and calling at 57 ports.

Viking said that its new world cruises itineraries will see Viking Sky, depart Fort Lauderdale on December 20, 2023 and Viking Neptune depart three days later on December 23 2023 – both ships will sail identical itineraries to Central America before transiting the Panama Canal and sailing up the West Coast of North America.

Prices start from $79,995 per person.

A shorter, 121-day itinerary will also be available for guests to join the ships in Los Angeles, cross the Pacific Ocean and visit Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East, Mediterranean and conclude the voyage in London. Prices for the shorter journeys start from $74,995pp.

“Our previous World Cruises sold out in a matter of weeks and we are now seeing more interest in these extended voyages than ever before,” said Torstein Hagen, chairman of Viking.

The line’s new World Cruises in 2023/24 will visit the world’s most iconic cities as well as lesser-known destinations with overnight stays in 11 ports including Sydney, Haifa, Istanbul and two nights in Auckland, Bali, Ho Chi Minh Yangon and Mumbai allowing guests to delve deeper in these cities.

Highlights of the World Cruise for 2023-24 include:

* Sydney – experience the city’s magnificent harbour, Opera House and natural wonders of the Blue Mountains

* Singapore – discover the city’s multi-cultural diversity during the overnight stay with tours to Little India and Arab Street including a night safari at the world’s first nocturnal wildlife park

* Mumbai – over two nights, guests will explore the picturesque narrow streets of old Mumbai to the colourful markets and learn about the life of Gandhi

* Istanbul – where East meets West exploring the spectacular Blue Mosque, legendary Hagia Sophia and savour the delicious fusion cuisine combining Mediterranean food with spices from the Far East and Asia
