The Carlton Cannes, a historic hotel on the French Riviera has reopened its doors as part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

The Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel has 332 rooms, 72 of which have a sea view. Each well-appointed suite contains a refreshment gallery featuring food and beverage items, many of which are complimentary.

The seventh floor of the hotel has four signature suites, including The Katara Suite, The Grace Kelly Suite, The Cary Grant Suite, and The Kirk Douglas Suite.

On the sixth floor is The Alfred Hitchcock Suite, which is the exact room where the kiss scene between Grace Kelly and Cary Grant in “To Catch a Thief” was filmed.

In the other tower on the same floor, The Suzanne Lenglen Suite pays tribute to the tennis legend who played the “Match of the Century” at the hotel in 1926.

The property also has 37 residences located in two new wings. These were designed as lavish Mediterranean homes for extended stays. Guests of these residences will have access to the hotel’s facilities and services. The 1,000-square-metre penthouse has a private landscaped rooftop with a private jacuzzi.

Guests can also expect peristyle alcoves, sunbathing decks, handcrafted cabanas, and the largest hotel infinity pool in Cannes, as well as a new 10,000-square-foot fitness and spa complex, The C Club, which includes a boxing ring, gym, yoga, and Pilates studio.

The hotel will also have three restaurants, three bars, a tea lounge, and a cigar lounge. The Riviera Restaurant is an all-day dining destination overlooking La Croisette, serving traditional French brasserie cuisine. Launching this May just before the Cannes Film Festival, Rüya focuses on Anatolian cuisine.

And the newly renovated Carlton Beach Club will be available for private hire. Bar 58 will offer seasonal cocktails guided by a “farm to bar philosophy,” besides liquors, champagnes, and wines served alongside light bites. At Camélia – The Tea Lounge is where guests can sit down for a cup of tea from around the world.
