While Queen Elizabeth’s first homeported season has been a big success, her second at the end of this year offers even more opportunities to sample the right royal high life on a Cunard ship.

The recently refurbished luxury liner will sail a series of round trips from local ports with deeper, richer and more regionally focused itineraries.

And in between homeported deployments, there will be exotic grand voyages that capture the spirit of adventure Australian travellers love.

There will be six roundtrips from Melbourne and two from Sydney, covering the popular regions of South Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand.

And there will be a brand new itinerary that features the exotic paradise of Papua New Guinea.

For the first time ever, a Cunard ship will spend Christmas in Australia with a stunning Christmas and New Year voyage to New Zealand – but these are selling fast, so the line’s advice is: hurry!

Queen Elizabeth is the newest of the three-strong Cunard fleet, and is spending more time Down Under thanks to enormous demand.

The ship’s famed food, entertainment and art deco elegance, coupled great destinations have been a hit with Australians and international cruisers.

Her second season will feature 75 voyage combinations ranging from 2 to 49 nights, taking in 67 ports, 15 UNESCO world heritage sites and 21 countries including 14 maiden calls.

Passengers aboard for the 14 night round trip from Melbourne will spend Boxing Day in the Fiordland National Park (home of the beautiful Milford, Doubtful and Dusky sounds) and will ring in the New Year 2020 with an overnight stay in Auckland.

The 14-night Papua New Guinea voyage begins in Sydney and includes four ports of call in the lush and diverse mainland of Papua New Guinea and its Islands. Two, Conflict Islands and Kiriwina in the Trobriand Islands, will be maiden calls for Cunard.

There is still time to sample the Queen Elizabeth’s luxury experience with some special fares for a strictly limited time.

Cunard is offering reduced fares, complimentary gratuities and $300 deposits, plus complimentary on board spending for Grills Suite guests.
