Start your Japan cruise with Holland America

Board Holland America Line’s sophisticated Noordam for a 14-night round-trip cruise. The renowned ship boasting a classic design, is renowned for its spacious and cosy accommodation, world-class cuisine and great service. After dinner at the beautiful Vista Restaurant, take in the dazzling Dancing with the Stars show at the Vista lounge.

Arrive in Tokyo on day one and discover the city of contrasts from serene ancient shrines to dizzying neon-lit streets. Visit the famous Meiji Shrine, Imperial Palace and Ginza district for some of the city’s best shopping.

When Noordam sails into Hiroshima, visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. You’ll see a UNESCO World Heritage site and learn about the city’s devastating destruction at the end of the World War ll.

Sample the remarkable local cuisine in Sokcho, South Korea which is also famed for its hot springs and picture-perfect beaches. Watch fresh fish caught off the coast and sample Ojingeo-sundae, a squid stir-fry made of noodles, seaweed and spices.

The next stop – Korea

 You will love Busan with its golden beaches, magnificent mountains and opulent temples. Explore Machu Pichu of Busan at Gamcheon Culture Village, a former slum turned into a multi-coloured village.

At the Island of Gods, Jeju is a volcanic island with sandy beaches, towering waterfalls and spectacular lava formations. Explore underground caves and the city’s markets and lively bars.

Sailing into dynamic Incheon, head to General MacArthur monument or escape to spectacular Seoul to admire Bongeunsa Temple and the stunning woodblock carvings of Avatamsaka Sutra.

At Nagasaki, surrounded by magnificent mountains, you can explore the Atomic Bomb Museum.
