Celebrity Cruises prides itself on taking passengers to the most exciting ports and destinations around the world, but guests will find an adventure on their technologically advanced Edge Series ships.

Celebrity Edge, Beyond, Apex, and soon, Celebrity Ascent are the result of a cocktail of creative minds across architects, interior designers, stylists, landscape artists, and much more to make every part of the ship primed for the perfect guest experience.

While you likely don’t need much encouragement to check out the luxurious spa offerings or dine on the industry-first Magic Carpet, here’s how you can make your days at sea into maybe just the most memorable days of your cruise.

We’ve crafted an example of how to spend the perfect day onboard these beautiful ships.

6 am

If you’re an early riser, see the sunrise at the Resort Deck, an outward-facing pool deck to ring in endless ocean views. The area is complete with a rooftop garden that feels akin to the Highline in New York, providing greenery nestled away from the bustle of the ship.

7 am

Next up you can grab a coffee without sacrificing your ocean views at II Secondo Bacio and take your pick for breakfast from the extensive menu at Cosmopolitan. Guests can find everything they want here, and for those in a rush to get to their next activity, there is a sumptuous breakfast that comes complete with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and buttery toast.

9 am

If you want to spend the rest of the day on a cloud, now’s the perfect time to take your pick of the more than 120 available treatments at the Spa.

Whether you want the three-in-one detox and skin rejuvenation or? the first-at-sea MLX I3DOME, to visit the first Kerastase Institute at Sea or to explore the Rainfall Water Therapy, Infrared Sauna, Turkish Bath, and everything else the Sea Thermal Suite has to offer, you’ll be on the path to rejuvenation.

1 pm

When lunch rolls around it’s hard to go past Eden. The multi-level dining and entertainment complex brings together panoramic ocean views, live entertainment, experiential cuisine, and immersive design. The open-air kitchen will waft sensory spoilers of your meal ahead, as the garden-themed space envelopes you in serenity, as you await dishes such as roasted Carabineros shrimp from Spain or sheep’s milk ricotta gnocchi with smoked pecorino cheese.

These staterooms with the Infinite Verandas is the perfect place for rest and relaxation.

3 pm

If you’ve booked an infinite veranda cabin, spend an hour or so simply sinking yourself into the sheets and views, or you might find it time to head to the pool or fitness centre.

5 pm

Before the sun dips itself over the ocean, you’ll want to secure yourself a front-row seat at the Sunset Bar, perfectly situated for you to enjoy the sunset with a hand-crafted cocktail in hand, as you sit back in the country club atmosphere and live music.

7 pm

With your appetite primed for dinner, while there are plenty of mouth-watering options, you’d be remiss not to have at least venture up to the Magic Carpet. The size of a tennis court and 16 decks high, enjoy alfresco dining amongst the gentle sea breeze. The food doesn’t fail to rise to the location – the signature Lobster Roll is a strong recommendation, but there are plenty of other seafood, sushi, and sashimi options to satisfy any palette.

Entertainment on the Celebrity Edge Series ships
After dinner, head to the theatre to watch The Tree of Life Production Show.

10 pm

You couldn’t dare let your night end there, the award-winning experiential shows of the theatre are waiting, or if you don’t feel like catching a show, there are plenty of places to live slow or fast for the night. Live music and DJ sets will set the atmosphere at The Club, or you can return to Eden which comes alive at night with anything from folk music to acrobatic shows. Or if you’re after something more lowkey, head to the upscale flair of the Martini Bar and let the highly skilled bartenders put on a masterclass of mixology for you as you sample different cocktails.

While that may be what one-day looks like, your next day might look very different, with entertainment and dining spread all across the ship from the Michelin star-winning Daniel Boulud’s Le Voyage restaurant, the secluded paradise of The Retreat, open-air pickleball, and so much more across Celebrity’s Edge Class ships.

The best part? You can experience one of these award-winning resorts at sea in Europe, Alaska, and close to home in Australia when Celebrity Edge makes her way down under in December.
