Your holiday starts when you check into your luxury resort hotel Melia Bali in Nusa Dua which has five restaurants, three bars, a spa and an adults-only retreat, The Level. It is also close to teeming Kuta Beach and the main city of Denpasar.

Over the next five nights, you can take in Bali’s enchanting attractions visiting ancient Hindu temples, chilling out at black-sandy beaches to watching mesmerising Balinese dance performances accompanied by traditional gamelan music. Spend a day exploring Bali’s grand, Hindu complex, Besakih Temple on the slopes of Mount Agung. With spectacular countryside views of rice paddy fields and mountains, Besakih is the biggest and holiest of Bali’s temples. Make sure you wear a sarong and sash to enter the complex.

After a relaxing Bali break, you will fly to Singapore to board the Royal Caribbean’s recently amped-up Voyager of the Seas which can accommodate more than 3500 passengers. With 11 restaurants, three pools and a kids club spread over 15 decks, you can pack in all the fun activities from a roller-blading, ice-skating to sliding down three storeys on waterslides. For foodie fans, there’s the hallmark American steakhouse, Chops Grille; fine dining at Chefs Table; rustic Italian flavours at Giovanni’s Table; fresh sushi at Izumi to the all-day deli for light meals at the Café Promenade. After dinner enjoy a Broadway show at the ship’s theatre.

The ship will sail to Penang and the charming capital city of George Town, one of Malaysia’s culinary hot spot with a range of tantalising flavours found at bustling hawker stalls. You will be blown away by the sizzling food and aromatic taste of spicy, assam laksa, char kway teow, Roti Canai and nasi lemak. Stop by the biggest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia, the Kek Lok Si Temple, dominated by the statue of Guanyin, the 36.5m Goddess of Mercy.

The next day, you will sail to Phuket, the biggest island in Thailand. Wander round Old Phuket Town with delightful cafes and funky shops, soak up the sun at Phuket’s sandy beaches where the water is warm and clear. Take refuge from the beating sun by sipping fresh coconut juice served in chilled coconuts.

After a day at sea where you can indulge in a soothing massage at the ship’s Vitality Spa, you will disembark Voyager of the Seas in Singapore and fly home.
