Your holiday adventure starts in Brisbane when you embark the Pacific Encounter. Make sure you check out celebrity chef Luke Mangan’s restaurant on board the ship. If you fancy some Asian fare, try the Dragon Lady and Angelo’s for some hearty Italian cuisine.

After a day at sea, you will arrive at Airlie Beach, a popular starting point for trips to the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsunday Islands. Take a swim in the crystal clear waters or go for a Whitsunday Crocodile Safari.

There will be another two sea days before the Pacific Encounter overnights at Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory. You can go hiking at Litchfield Park to witness thundering waterfalls, stroll by Mindil Beach Sunset Market or discover Darwin’s military history at the Military Museum.
