Windstar Cruises’ Wind Surf is a five-masted sailing yacht. It has 25,000 square feet of computer-operated sails and a water-ballast stabilising system that keeps the ship level while sailing. Launched in 1990, Wind Surf is the flagship for the Windstar fleet. It is popular with couple who enjoy the casual sailing experience. The 14,745 ship has 156 cabins spread across its eight passenger decks and carries 312 passengers and 163 crew.
Accommodation
There are three cabin types: Standard cabins (188 square feet), suites (376 square feet) and Bridge suites (495 square feet). All are equipped with a mini-bar/refrigerator, flat-screen television, DVD/CD player, storage for luggage, two portholes, telephone, Wi-Fi access, hairdryer, handheld and fixed shower. Fresh fruit is provided daily. A pillow menu is offered in Bridge Deck Suites.
Food
The main dining room, AmphorA Restaurant has open seating with tables for two, four or six. Other dining venues include Stella Bistro, Veranda for buffet breakfast and lunch, Yacht Club Sandwich & Espresso Bar and Candles for light meals and snacks during the day and al fresco dining at night when it transforms into the Compass Rose.
Activities
Onboard spa facilities are spread across three decks and include a sauna, beauty salon and treatment rooms for massage, facials and body wraps. There is an aerobic workout room and gym with ocean views. There are two pools and a water-sports platform for windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing, snorkelling and diving.

Wind Surf does not have any special program or activities for children.
