Virgo

The flagship of the Star Cruises fleet, SuperStar Virgo has a grand staircase and a soaring atrium. The 75,338 tonne ship was launched in 1999 and refurbished in 2014. It carries 1,870 passengers and 1,225 crew.

Accommodation

SuperStar Virgo has 935 staterooms in 18 different categories. The largest accommodation aboard are the Executive Suites, which are up to 650.25 square feet and have Jacuzzi bath tubs and sitting areas. Cabins range from compact interior cabins to more generous balcony cabins. All staterooms have air-conditioning, personal safe and television.

Food

There are 15 bars and restaurants on board SuperStar Virgo. The Mediterranean Restaurant provides buffet meals featuring international dishes. Palazzo serves fine Italian and other Western cuisine, with matching premium wines. The Samurai Restaurant has sushi, sashimi and  teppanyaki. For Chinese cuisine, guests can dine at Genting Palace or Noble House, while The Taj serves Indian feasts.

Activities

SuperStar Virgo’s Apollo Spa & Fitness Centre has modern fitness equipment, universal gym machines, sauna and steam rooms. Oscar’s Beauty Salon offers full parlor services for both men and women. Spa treatments includes foot reflexology and Asian massage. There two pools, basketball and tennis courts, a jogging track and a golf driving range.

Families

A large outdoor/indoor activity area for kids includes Wet ‘n’ Wild by Neptune, a playground pool with octopus waterslides, sea lion fountains and submarine climbing frame. Charlie’’s childcare centre has play areas and a ball pool. There are computer rooms, mini –theatres, sleeping areas, an arts and crafts room and a gigantic video game arcade.
