Seven Seas Voyager was launched in 2003 as the third ship in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ fleet. The vessel underwent extensive refurbishing in 2016, adding luxurious new decor. Voyager is popular with couples and solo travellers over the age of 50 who like to cruise in comfort and enjoy good food and service. The 42,363 tonne ship carries 708 passengers and 447 crew.

Seven Seas Voyager is an all-suite, all-balcony ship with 350 suites in 13 categories. All suites have a private balcony, marble bath room with bath, walk-in closet and a safe. Suites range from 356 square feet Deluxe Suites to two-bedroom Master Suites which measure 1,216 square feet.

The main dining room on board Seven Seas Voyager is the Compass Rose. This provides open seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner without reservations. La Veranda is the daytime buffet venue for breakfast and lunch. In the evening, it transforms into an Italian restaurant. The pool deck offers alfresco dining and Signatures serves a dinner menu of classic French cuisine.

Seven Seas Voyager’s Canyon Ranch Spa Club and Wellness Center has a relaxation room, treatment rooms, steam rooms and saunas. The fitness centre has a gym with state of the art exercise equipment and an aerobics studio. The Beauty Salon provides full range salon services for men and women. On the Top Deck, there are golf cages, shuffleboard, paddle tennis and a full-circle jogging track.

While Voyager is not particularly family friendly, children above one year old are allowed to sail. On select cruises, the Club Mariner Youth Program is designed for age groups 5 – 8, 9 – 12 and 13 – 17 years and is supervised by a staff of experienced youth counselors.

“The entertainment was very good and it was great to meet many of them on host and hostess duties over the 12 days. The cirque event was cancelled due to rough seas. There was always seats available.
