Pride of America was built in 2005 and refurbished in 2016. It has a length of 920 feet and a gross tonnage of 80,439. Pride of America is a unique vessel owned by Norwegian Cruise Lines and sails round trips from Honolulu, Hawaii, year-round. It appeals to families, couples and solo travellers who enjoy nightlife and plenty of activities. Pride of America has 11 passenger decks and can accommodate 2,186 passengers and 927 crew.

There are 1,096 staterooms on board Pride of America in 34 different categories, including 1,145 balcony, 220 outside, 740 connecting and 52 suites. Accommodation ranges from 107 square feet inside studios for solo travellers to two-bedroom Deluxe Family Suites with large balconies (650 square feet) and Deluxe Owner’s Suites (1,382 square feet). Suites have butler and concierge services. The standard cabins have ample luggage space and are built with various amenities, including a mini-fridge, salon-style hairdryer, mirrored vanity tables, telephone, flat-screen television and writing table. Bathroom toiletries by Elemis are replenished every day.

Pride of America has two main dining rooms (Liberty and Skyline), a help-yourself buffet and a variety of casual cafés and grills, all with freestyle dining (no set times or tables). There are also a number of  specialty restaurants (with a cover charge), including: Moderno Churrascaria (Brazilian steakhouse), Teppanyaki and Sushi Bar (Japanese); Cagney’s Steakhouse; Jefferson’s Bistro (French); and La Cucina (Italian).

Pride of America offers various ways for their guests to relax and stay healthy while travelling. The Mandara Spa offers various services with relaxation lounges and treatment rooms. The South Beach Pools area includes four hot tubs and two swimming pools. The Santa Fe Fitness Centre has a full gym and  fitness classes. There is a jogging tracks, rock-climbing walls, giant chess, golf nets and a sports court. Other day time activities include wellness lectures, bingo games, seminar and arts/ crafts lessons. The Hollywood Theatre has a seating capacity of 880 guests offering Broadway-like musical performances and productions. There is an internet café, wedding chapel, library and a retreat room.

Pride of America has the Splash Academy just for kids ages three to 12 years with active games, arts and crafts, and creative theme days. There is also a kids’ pool. Teens (13 to 17) can hang out at Entourage, a hip place complete with dance floor, bar, video, jukebox, table football and air hockey. There is also a video arcade and internet cafe.
