Norwegian Sky was built in 1999 and refurbished in 2013. It has a length of 848 feet and a gross tonnage of 77,104. Norwegian Sky has a youthful and vibrant ambience and attracts families and cruisers of all ages who enjoy all the activities, dining choices and entertainment offered by a floating resort. It has 12 passenger decks and carries 2,004 passengers and 899 crew.

Norwegian Sky has 1,002 staterooms in 27 different categories, ranging from 121 square feet inside rooms to Owners Suites which are 835 square feet with large balconies. All suites have concierge and butler services. Standard cabins have twin beds that convert to queens, a small lounge area, adequate closet space, vanity/writing desk, television, safe and climate control.

The main dining rooms on Norwegian Sky are Palace and Crossings. Buffets meals are offered at the Garden Café and Longboard bar. There are also specialty restaurants which incur an extra charge, including: Cagney’ Steakhouse, Il Adagio (Italian) and Le Bistro (French). And there is a variety of bars and lounges.

Norwegian Sky offers various ways for their guests to relax and stay fit. The Mandara Spa offers unique and exotic spa treatments. The Body Waves Fitness Centre has state-of-the-art machines, floor-to-ceiling windows and runs aerobics, spinning and exercise classes. There is also a sports court, two large outdoor pools, golf driving nets and a jogging track.

Norwegian Sky has the Splash Academy just for kids aged three to 12 years with active games, arts and crafts, and creative theme days. There is a children’s pool on deck 12. For teenagers (13 to 17), The Zone has Wii consoles, flat-screen televisions and air hockey, plus a disco exclusively for teens by night. There is also a video arcade and internet cafe.
