– Cruise Passenger
HA appears to be continually working on improvements to their cruises and it showed. Compared to a previous cruise on the Oosterdam, several new things were added. The Westerdam was the first ship with culinary demonstrations allied with America’s Test Kitchen. These were excellent and much better than demonstrations I have seen on earlier cruises. The stage in the theater is now equipped with large LED screens which made the floor shows much more visual and interesting. This ship has a chocolate bar which appeared to be lightly patronized. Ultimately, the Northern Lights disco needs to be removed as it is lightly used and a waste of space. I was told that there will be changes/renovations made to this ship next year. -socaliferic
