Europa is considered to be the world’s finest yacht. Two hundred and eighty staff members look after a maximum of 408 passengers and the ship has the largest space per passenger in the industry. Expedition ship MS Hanseatic is the world’s only five-star expedition ship. She carries a maximum of 184 passengers and has an E4 ice class rating to navigate Arctic and Antarctic waters.

DINING

Expect high-quality food on both of these five-star ships. Europa offers four restaurants: the Europa Restaurant, Venezia, Oriental and the Lido Café. Being a smaller ship, Hanseatic offers two dining options. There are no surcharges for any alternative dining or special events.

FACILITIES

Both ships carry bicycles for passenger use in ports, zodiacs for landings at remote sites and in-cabin access to the internet plus free text emails. Europa offers the Ocean Spa, with a sauna, large treatment menu, fitness loft with sea views, golf simulator and 15m pool. Hanseatic has a cinema/lecture room, a gym with sauna and a saltwater pool.

In the Northern- Hemisphere summer, Europa cruises the Baltic, North Sea and Mediterranean and heads to the Southern Hemisphere in late autumn. Hanseatic spends the respective summers in the Arctic and Antarctic. Both ships itineraries vary from year to year.
