Ever wondered why thereโ€™s a full stop in Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines? Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is the second-oldest established cruise line in the world. This family-owned company specialises in traditional cruising and operates mainly out of the UK, with British and European officers. Itโ€™s fleet has four mid-size ships, Balmoral, Black Watch, Braemar and Boudicca, which have an English atmosphere. The full stop is to highlight the abbreviation of Fredrik and means the cruise line is sometimes referred to only as โ€œFred dotโ€!.
