Crown Princess is set to be deployed in Australia this year on a year-round basis starting this October. 

This 2006-built cruise ship is also scheduled to host the 2025 Princess World Cruise with scheduled departures from Auckland, Brisbane, and Sydney. In addition, Crown Princess is poised to be the largest ship to ever complete a world cruise.

This 3100-guest ship has a gross tonnage of 113, 561 and spans 290 metres in length and 59.4 metres in height. 

This Fincantieri-built princess is the line’s seventh of the nine Grand-class series together with her sister ships Diamond, Emerald (sistership), Golden (Pacific Adventure), Grand, Caribbean, Ruby (sistership), Sapphire and Star (Pacific Encounter).

On the other hand, the ship’s 222- stateroom Oceanview Cabin 15 to 18 square metres while the 436-stateroom Interior has a uniform area of 15 square metres. 

Stateroom amenities and perks

The ship’s suites feature walk-in closets, living rooms and spacious bathrooms with whirlpool bathtubs, double sinks, and shower stalls. In addition, some suites’ living rooms have a sofa bed and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading to a large balcony.
