Had an amazing and memorable day in Venice whilst i was just seventeen. A day spent watching a master glass blower creating gorgeous bright artworks. Marvelling at the many pidgeons landing on me and relaxing in a Gondola being paddled thru the canals. Would so love to revisit Venice as I am now 62 and its been all of 45yrs since I was last there!

After recovering from a car accident two years ago I can finally have a rest and start to live my life again. I can picture it now. Or maybe I can’t. It’s too magical.

I will be 77 next year, and have never been overseas. Lot’s of reasons why. However I will finally get to Europe, via Italy next September. My daughter will be travelling with me! I have a friend in Conegliano, just 80 kilometres north of Venice.To win this competition would be fantastic. The days and nights in Venice would be wonderful.I like the idea of ‘river cruises’.
