The Sun Princess has emerged from a glorious 14-day refurbishment with some exciting new features.

She’ll be starting a short season sailing from Perth completing three roundtrip itineraries including a maiden eight-night Coral Coast voyage which will see the liner return to Exmouth for the first time since 2009. During her Western Australian deployment, Sun Princess will also make calls to Albany, Broome, Busselton (for the Margaret River region) and Geraldton.

“Sun Princess’ return to Western Australia also marks the liner’s return to Exmouth for the first time in almost ten-years. Guests sailing on the new eight-night Coral Coast voyage roundtrip from Perth will make calls to Geraldton and Broome, before sailing to Exmouth to enjoy Western Australia’s stunningly beautiful Northwest Cape.”

Sun Princess’ homeport in Western Australia also marks the return of beloved Australian Chef Curtis Stone’s onboard restaurant, SHARE. With two award-winning restaurant’s in Los Angeles (Maude and Gwen), SHARE is the only opportunity for Western Australians to sample the chef’s exquisite cuisine locally.

For younger cruisers, Sun Princess has been fitted with transformed Camp Discovery youth centres. Designed in partnership with Discovery™, the centres have been created specifically for kids and teens, encouraging new friendships and supporting discovery and creativity through play.

Livery

In aesthetic enhancements, Sun Princess is the latest ship to receive the elegant livery design featuring Princess Cruises’ logo, one of the most recognised brand logos in cruising. The design features the smooth and flowing gracefulness of ocean waves and represents the excitement and adventure of discovering the great destinations of the world aboard a Princess cruise.

Shopping

Guests onboard Sun Princess can also enjoy an enhanced shopping experience at The Shops of Princess with a new branded Effy Fine Jewellery Boutique along with a newly designed Logo Shop where guests can choose from a collection of Princess branded athletic wear and logo apparel.

Entertainment

In the Princess Theatre, guests will be entertained by Encorea spellbinding musical directed and choreographed by world-renown creative director, Danny Teeson. Guests can also participate in The Voice of the Oceanan interactive in-show experience, inspired by the highest-ranked TV show in the world.

Sun Princess’ 2018/2019 deployment comes as Princes Cruises prepares for a record-breaking 141-day deployment in Fremantle for the 2019/2020 Australian summer cruising season, the largest financial commitment ever made to the state by a cruise brand. This historic investment follows the return of Sun Princess to Fremantle which will generate a one hundred per cent increase in cruise ship guests sailing from Western Australia.
