Sir Richard Branson has been flexing his romantic side on board Virgin Voyages’ celebration sailings, marking the brand’s more than 50 years of history by officiating three weddings.

As of April 2025, passengers heading on a sailing with Virgin Voyages can also book the wedding of their dreams with three curated packages designed to simplify the planning process.

The multi-hyphenate billionaire was spotted marrying each couple across different Virgin Voyages sailings. British couple Ben and Emma exchanged their vows while cruising on the Valiant Lady in The Perch. The second round of newlyweds, Danny and Brittany, tied the knot while the ship was docked in Ibiza. And even crew members, Alejandra and Matias, made it official after first becoming engaged onboard Resilient Lady.

All three weddings occurred within just a week, each officiated by Branson as well as framed by events headlined by Boy George, spinning poolside DJ sets alongside guided stargazing sessions with Virgin Atlantic Galactic astronauts.

“From the blue roofs of Santorini to the sparkling azure waters of Bimini, there are dozens of gorgeous backdrops for couples to choose as their ultimate something blue,” reads a statement from Virgin Voyages.

“Whether on-board or at sea, couples will have the long-awaited opportunity to tie the knot or celebrate their engagements, honeymoon or vow renewal in style.”
