Silver Spirit to undergo major refurbishment with the addition of S.A.L.T. Kitchen and upgraded suites

• Silver Spirit’s public areas, pool deck and spa will also be modernised and refreshed.
• S.A.L.T. Bar and S.A.L.T. Lab for cooking classes will also be added.
• The refurbished Silver Spirit will then embark on her European sailings in May.

Silver Spirit will undergo a major facelift with the addition of S.A.L.T. dining experience. The ship’s public areas and suites will also be upgraded.

The refurbishments are expected to be completed by May when Silver Spirit embarks on her European sailings.

The addition of S.A.L.T. (Salt And Land Taste) culinary experience will mean that guests will be able to delve deeper into each destination with regionally-inspired menus.

There will be a new S.A.L.T. Kitchen offering destination-inspired dishes, S.A.L.T. Bar featuring regional spirits and custom-made cocktails and S.A.L.T. Lab where guests can learn how to cook regional dishes.

 The ship’s Venetian Lounge will be modernized with new elegant drapery, new carpets and its furniture reupholstered.  The ship’s pool deck, spa and fitness centre will also be updated.  

 New Medallion Suites will also be added to the ship which will include a private veranda, a luxurious bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower.

The refreshed Silver Spirit will head to Northern Europe in May offering a variety of voyages to explore the dramatic beauty of Southern Norwegian Fjords and Western Europe.

The sailings include an 11-night itinerary from Southampton to Amsterdam departing on May 27. Guests will be able to visit the home of The Beatles in Liverpool then head north to Scotland to discover Edinburgh, Lerwick and Shetland Islands.

Silver Spirit will also offer a 12-day journey from Amsterdam to Copenhagen departing on June 7. The voyage will explore Norway’s breathtaking southern fjords, followed by Denmark’s northern beauty of Skagen, the historic Baltic port of Warnemunde before arriving in Copenhagen.

There is a 12-day sailing from Southampton to Lisbon departing on August 27. Guests will be able to discover the art of winemaking in Bordeaux, enjoy the lively Basque and Cantabrian food and wine culture of Bilbao and Santander before concluding in Lisbon.

Silver Spirit will also embark on a 50-day Grand Voyage Mediterranean later this year visiting 40 destinations including Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Barcelona, Volvos, Gythion and Amalfi.
