Sarah Faberge, a founding member of the Faberge Heritage Council, will serve as godmother to Seven Seas Grandeur. The partnership between Regent and Faberge continues to develop, with Sarah Faberge now set to play a key role for Grandeur.

Regent will christen the ship at a gala event in Miami, Florida on December 10 later this year. The christening will feature a performance from Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth.

Seven Seas Grandeur will then move on to her first itineraries, sailing out of Miami on its inaugural Caribbean season.

Andre DeMarco President of Regent Seven Seas says the Regent Faberge connection is flourishing.

“As a founding member of the Fabergé Heritage Council, Sarah symbolises the shared ethos and distinctive qualities that define our two eminent luxury brands. Therefore she is the ideal Godmother of our newest ship, Seven Seas Grandeur.

“We are deeply honoured to name Sarah Fabergé as Godmother. I am delighted to welcome her to the Regent Seven Seas Cruises family.”

Sarah Faberge currently works as the director of special projects for the Faberge Heritage council. Ms Faberge says Grandeur embodies the spirit of the Faberge family.

“Today’s Fabergé looks to the ingenuity of my great-grandfather, Peter Carl Fabergé and his constant pursuit of excellence.

“I am honoured to be Godmother to this extraordinary new ship which, like Fabergé, has been inspired by the past and reimagined for the future, and I also look forward to hosting Regent guests onboard Seven Seas Grandeur for my exclusive Spotlight Voyage in 2024.”

A custom crafted Faberge egg on Seven Seas Grandeur commemorates the new Regent Faberge partnership. The ocean and its seven seas serve as inspiration for the multi-million dollar construction.

Furthermore, there are a couple of dedicated Faberge sailings, that offer deeper insight into the family and brand history. The first has already sailed in June, but there will be another in the Mediterranean in July 2024.
