Princess Cruises’ small ship Pacific Princess will return to homeport in Tahiti next year after an absence of five years and offer a series of roundtrip cruises around the islands of French Polynesia.

The 67-passenger Pacific Princess starts her homeport in Papeete in October 2020 and concludes her season late November before sailing back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

It will be her first return to the South Pacific for the first time since 2015 and she will sail five 10-day Tahiti and French Polynesia departures.

The itinerary include overnight calls in Papeete and Bora Bora, as well as a late-night stay in Raiatea.

She will also be visiting ports like Huahine, Rangiroa, and Moorea.

“Tahiti and French Polynesia are go-to destinations in themselves and Princess Cruises offers the best way to explore remote island life onboard one of our more intimate ships,” said Princess Cruises’ Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Stuart Allison.

“Princess Cruises has a long history with Tahiti and is a highly valued partner showcasing the diversity of our islands, the rich authentic local culture, and the great variety of experiences that await discovery,” said Tahiti Tourisme Directeur Général and CEO Paul Sloan.

“We are eagerly looking forward to next year and welcoming Pacific Princess back to The Islands of Tahiti.”
