For those who love a tipple on their holiday, P&O Cruises Australia are offering free premium drinks packages for guests sailing on voyages of seven nights or longer.
Drinks packages, as we all know, makes a massive hit on your wallet, with some lines charging up to US$315 for wine for the entire trip, like Celebrity Cruises, or US$89 per person, per day for cocktails, liquor, wine and beer on Norwegian Cruise Line.
P&O Cruises Australia only has drinks packages available on its longer cruises and it’s priced at $89 per person, per day.
On a seven night cruise, that would save $623.
The line’s drinks package includes soda, juice blends, mocktails, bottles of water, beer and cider, wine valued at up to $13 per glass, spirits valued at up to $13 per glass and cocktails valued at up to $13 per glass.
So all up, on a seven-night cruise, guests can save up $623 per person – that’s a total saving of $1,246 for a couple.
But if you can’t get away for that long, the line is also offering on cruises of six-nights or less, onboard spending money which you can use on beverages, specialty dining and more.
The offer is available on bookings made up until June 1.

Barrier Reef Discovery
On the Pacific Dawn, P&O will take you on a seven-night cruise from Brisbane to see one of the world’s greatest natural wonders – the Great Barrier Reef. One of the major attractions of this cruise is a chance to see coral and aqua life that the Great Barrier Reef offers. Cruises are priced from $748.95 per person, for an interior cabin.
New Guinea Island Encounter
Departing from Brisbane, this cruise on the Pacific Dawn takes you to Alotau, Kitava, Rabaul, Kiriwina Island and Conflict Islands before heading back to Brisbane. The 10-night cruise takes you to remote destinations in Papua New Guinea which are relatively untouched.
