It’s been a big week for the upper premium line, Oceania Cruises with news on its latest ship, special voyages in the Pacific and its first sailing in 524 days.

Marina is the first of Oceania Cruises’ ships to resume sailing and is also the very first cruise ship to sail from the port of Copenhagen since 2019.

“Today is one of those days we will all remember for a lifetime as we reunite with our shipboard families and our guests to start exploring the world once again,” stated Bob Binder, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises.

All Oceania Cruises voyages are operating with a requirement that 100% of guests and crew are vaccinated, creating what we believe is one of the safest holiday experiences in the world.

The line is undertaking a phased restart with its science-backed plan for a healthy return to service that protects our guests, crew and communities visited. The robust SailSAFE Health and Safety Program creates multiple layers of protection against COVID-19 and was developed with guidance from our team of public health and scientific experts including the SailSAFE Global Health and Wellness Council and the Healthy Sail Panel.

Marina’s first voyage sails from Copenhagen to ports in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland prior to concluding in Stockholm. Marina will spend the remainder of the northern hemisphere summer and autumn cruising around Western Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Greek Isles prior to setting sail for Miami where she will arrive on 1 December 2021.

Marina is the first ship to resume sailing for Oceania Cruises and will be followed by Riviera, which resumes sailing in the Greek Isles on 18 October 2021, and Insignia from Miami on 21 December 2021, to kick off the epic six-month-long Around the World in 180 Days voyage. Sirena resumes sailing in the Caribbean on 21 January 2022, and Regatta will start sailing on 5 February 2022 in Polynesia, followed by Nautica in the Mediterranean on 1 April 2022.

The line also revealed new details around its first Vista class ship, set to be launched in 2023. The palatial Owner’s Suites and top-of-ship library will be exclusively styled in Ralph Lauren home.

Vista will feature three spacious Owner’s Suites, each of which spans the full beam of the ship. They will measure 222 square metres and styled exclusively in Ralph Lauren Home.

The dramatic double-doored entry opens into the foyer and the dining room that is dominated by a floor-to-ceiling bow-shaped wall of glass that overlooks the sea. The centrepiece of the room is the elegant Brook Street Salon dining table that is surrounded by a fleet of Holbrook Director’s Chairs from Ralph Lauren Home with a polished nickel Chatham pendant chandelier overhead.

The living room will have opulent walnut flooring, quartered rosewood cocktail bar with hammered nickel countertop, and a lounging area filled with modern furnishings that showcase a nautical flair. At the end of the living room, a wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling glass wall provides for unequalled vistas while adjacent to the bar, a wall of glass opens onto the expansive teak veranda that is furnished for lounging, entertaining and dining.

The master bedroom is an entire retreat unto itself, featuring a luxurious Cote d’Azur king-size bed, capacious walk-in closets, and an opulent master bath with a large soaking tub and an ocean-view shower.
