- Bookings are now open for Norwegian Aura.

Norwegian Aura, Norwegian Cruise Line‘s biggest and newest ship, is officially open for bookings. The ship will begin sailing homeporting out of Miami in June 2027, and will sail a few sailings beforehand in Europe in May.
The massive new ship is almost 345 metres long, 169,000 gross tonnes and can accommodate up to 3840 guests at a time.
Like most new cruise ships, Aura will sail out of the Caribbean, offering seven-day sailings out of Miami, generally starting from about $1800.
If you’re looking to cruise in Europe, there are just a couple of opportunities before the ship pivots the Caribbean. Another option is to hop on the 14-day transatlantic voyage and sail from the Mediterranean to Miami, giving yourself plenty of time to explore the new ship.
This itineraries are based around Norwegian’s private destinations in the Caribbean, Harvest Caye and Great Stirrup Cay, with each sailing visiting at least one of these private destinations. Harvest Caye is a resort-style experience in Belize and Great Stirrup Cay is an entire private island, located in the Bahamas.
The itineraries also visit a range of ports across the Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, Bahamasm MExico, Honduras and more.
As far as what you can find onboard the ship, Norwegian Aura has a renewed focus on getting guests out into the sun, with pool decks 20 per cent larger than the rest of its fleet, more seating capacity and an extra additional infinity hot tub.
The ship centres around Ocean Boulevard where you can find all kinds of outdoor dining, pools and sun decks, bars and more. There’s also plenty happening for families with the new ‘Ocean Heights’, which has more slides than any other NCL ship, go-karting, a ropes course, a rock climbing wall and more.
The new ship also aims to give more emphasis to ‘The Haven’, NCL’s luxurious suites that come with access to exclusive areas and benefits. The Haven will be 30% bigger on Aura, meaning there are more opportunities to snap up a premium cabin and enjoy exclusive restaurants, lounges, pools and more.
