The 2023/2024 wave season is fast approaching. And while bookings are looking strong, there’s still plenty available with deals starting from $58 per night.

For the best value option, there are a range of cruise deals from Sydney and Brisbane on P&O Australia and Carnival. However, there’s also a range of deals for more premium and luxury lines.

  • Royal Caribbean Transpacific: Royal Caribbean is offering a range of affordable last-minute Transpacific Cruise deals, starting at just $58 a night. There is a 17-night cruise on Brilliance of the Seas from Oahu to Sydney leaving on October 4, starting from $999. As well as a 17-night cruise from Oahu to Brisbane on Quantum of the Seas, departing on October 10, also from $999. Finally, there is an 18-night Oahu to Sydney cruise on Ovation of the Seas, departing on October 15, from $1099. 
  • Royal Caribbean Up to $750 off: Royal Caribbean is offering up to $750 off, 30% off all guests and kids sailing from $29 per day on a huge range of sailings. For example, a nine-night South Pacific cruise starts from an average of $999 per person. 
  • P&O Discover more for less: P&O is offering a flash sale on a range of shorter cruises. Offering a series of cruises for under $400. For example, this two-night comedy cruise from Melbourne on February 17, 2024 starts from just $149. This four-night Tangalooma and Moreton Island cruise on April 4, 2024 from Sydney starts from just $399. There’s also a sale on cruises under $600. For example, this four-night Kangaroo Island sailing from Melbourne on January 24, 2024 from $499. 
  • Carnival Sail Away: Carnival deal guests can pay half-price deposits and get up to $100 onboard credit per room. This 10-day Great Barrier Reef sailing on Carnival Splendor out of Sydney starts from just $970. It departs on May 6, 2024. Alternatively, this 11-day New Zealand cruise departing from Sydney on January 28, 2024, starts from just $1183. 
  • Carnival Save & Sail: Carnival is offering a range of last-minute deals on through to March 2024, for those who book by September 25. Deals include an eight-night Christmas cruise out of Brisbane on Carnival Luminosa, starting from $1337 for an Ocean View room. Another pick is a Great Barrier Reef cruise on Luminosa out of Brisbane, starting from just $788 for a six-night sailing. There are multiple sailing dates available. 
  • NCL Free at Sea: The free at sea deal earns cruisers a beverage package, WiFi and some credit for specialty dining and shore excursions. This is all included in the base fare. NCL generally has a higher base fare than the other family cruise lines. But if you’re planning on purchasing these packages, it’s worth crunching the numbers on what’s cheaper. Premium cruise deals 

  • Celebrity Cruises up to 75% off 2nd guest: Celebrity Cruises is offering a range of cruises with 75% off the second guest. This includes some last-minute Celebrity Edge sailings for 2023. This 14-night Bali & Australia sailing on November 25 now starts from $1495 average per person, down from $4811. Furthermore, this 12-night New Zealand roundtrip out of Sydney starts from just $1717.  
  • Cunard late saver:  The Cunard Late Saver fare applies to cruises departing within 90 days. Guests will have a pre-allocated stateroom and pay in full at time of booking.   • Holland America deals: Holland America has reduced the prices on a few Aussie cruises with good value. There are especially good value on cruises out of Sydney to New Zealand, such as this 10-day cruise from $1299 on Noordam, departing on December 10, 2023. Holland America is also offering the ‘Have it All’ package on many cruises. Guests can add a drinks package, speciality dining, WiFi and shore excursions for a reduced rate. 
  • Disney deals: Disney doesn’t have any particular promotions running for the upcoming season, but the cheapest way to get on a Disney Cruise this summer will be on this two-night Brisbane to Sydney cruise, which starts at $1785 for two guests, or $892.5 each. Importantly for a Disney cruise, this includes all entertainment and character experiences.
