Garden designer and TV personality Jamie Durie is the latest “star” to join Queen Elizabeth’s inaugural Gardening Voyage in Australia when she departs Sydney on 1 March 2021.

Durie will share his ideas on landscape design, future gardening trends and how to make home gardens more sustainable during the cruise which will call at Hobart and Melbourne during Queen Elizabeth’s record 118-day Australian cruise season Down Under from November 2020 to March 2021.

He will join other gardening experts including Graham Ross, one of the country’s renowned gardeners, horticulturalist Angus Stewart and author and presenter Indira Naidoo.

Passengers who are keen gardeners will learn the latest gardening techniques on how to manage a balcony garden, organic pest control, lawn maintenance, composting, rose gardening, bee-keeping and growing native plants. During the cruise, they will also be able to participate in gardening trivia, special craft classes and pick up tips on how to cook with ingredients from their home gardens.
