In Short:

A stunning 20m-long pool, 11 restaurants, floor to ceiling windows - see why Four Seasons 1 is set to redefine residential sailing.

  • Hospitality brand Four Seasons’ luxury superyacht Four Seasons 1 has begun its first sailing.
  • It is the first of more than 50 sailings Four Seasons 1 will undertake in its debut year
  • The vessel boasts 11 different restaurants, a 20-metre pool, and a one-to-one passenger to crew ratio.

Talk about making a splash! Four Seasons 1, the first luxury yacht from the hospitality brand, departed Malaga, Spain, for Malta on a 9-day cruise on March 20, 2026 on its inaugural voyage.

The 207-metre vessel, carrying a maximum of 200 passengers, takes inspiration from business magnate Aristotle Onassis’ iconic superyacht, Christina O, and has been tailor-made with exclusivity and personalisation front of mind as Four Seasons seeks to redefine living at sea.

The four-storey “Funnel Suite” is in a league of its own.

Arguably the most eye-popping feature of the yacht is the “Funnel Suite”, a four-storey, three-bedroom mini-palace with unimpeded sea views from panoramic, floor-to-ceiling windows housed in the vessel’s glass-enclosed funnel. For about $44,000 a night, you can enjoy a sunset dip in your own private splash pool, limber up in your outdoor gym, dine indoors or on your sprawling private terrace. The cheapest suite runs at about $8,000 a night.

Four Seasons chose an auspicious date for the occasion as it coincided with the 65th anniversary of the company’s opening of its first hotel in 1961.

“Four Seasons Yachts debuts on the same day that the very first Four Seasons hotel opened, 65 years ago, making this milestone even more meaningful as we celebrate the history of our company, while looking forward to the bright future ahead,” said Alejandro Reynal, President and Chief Executive Officer, Four Seasons.

“Four Seasons Yachts is a continuation of the pioneering ambition on which Four Seasons was built, and will reflect the same genuine care, service excellence, and exceptional moments we create for guests on land. We are proud to introduce a new expression of our brand at sea, opening an entirely new horizon for our guests.”

The 20m pool is the perfect place to lounge while you think about which of the 11 restaurants to go to.

The one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio means passengers will want for nothing. Many of the residential-style suites, feature expansive terraces and private plunge pools for a mix of both space and seclusion.

Not only is Four Seasons’ luxury yacht itself an exclusive offering, so too are the places it will visit, with access to exclusive ports and yacht-only harbours.

The 207-metre yacht has been conceived as an intimate, residential-style retreat.

According to Four Seasons, the 95 suites provide 50 per cent more living space per guest than any competitor at sea, and “transparent televisions” (who knew there was such a thing?) offer uninterrupted views.

Wellness is woven into the sailing experience with an onboard spa offering a thermal circuit complete with a sauna, aromatic steam, and cold therapies. Additional innovative treatments including cryotherapy, infrared therapy beds, hydrotherapy, and advanced recovery treatments, all designed to support restoration and longevity throughout the journey, are also available.

There are 11 distinct restaurants and lounges – from refined Mediterranean seafood to an intimate omakase experience.

In its first year, Four Seasons 1 luxury yacht will introduce 32 voyages across 52 sailings, exploring 130 distinct destinations in more than 30 countries and territories throughout the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean and Bahamas in winter. The inaugural season marks the beginning of a long-term global vision by the company, with additional itineraries and vessels planned in the years ahead.

“Today’s luxury traveller values time, trust, and authenticity above all,” says Ben Trodd, CEO, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts.

“With the confidence our guests place in Four Seasons comes an equally high expectation for excellence. At Four Seasons Yachts, we answer that call by combining our global standard for luxury hospitality with renowned maritime leadership, inviting our guests to explore the world from an entirely new vantage point.”
