Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas unveiled her new look on Monday after her US$97 million makeover and 41-day dry dock in Singapore.
New additions to the reimagined ship include novel amenities and experiences such as The Perfect Storm duo of racer waterslides and Battle for Planet Z laser tag.
Debuting alongside this line up is the reinvigorated Vitality Spa and Fitness Centre, redesigned kids and teens spaces as well as 72 additional inside and balcony staterooms.
See our gallery below for more interior pictures of the Voyager.
Guests can also look forward to the new Royal Caribbean International mobile app, which will deliver a more seamless travel experience. Through the app, travellers will be able to check in for their cruise vacation, view expenses, and make reservations for onboard activities and shore excursions, among other functions.
Angie Stephen, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. said, “Our newly transformed Voyager of the Seas will wow cruise fans more than ever now, with her bigger array of unique next-generation experiences and signature Royal Caribbean offerings.
Voyager of the Seas will then set sail for a season down under with 9- to 12-night South Pacific cruises from Sydney, Australia, starting on 30 November.
But before that, the ship is embarking on a series of 3- to 5-night Southeast Asian itineraries with seven sailings from Singapore to Penang, Melaka, Phuket and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) beginning this week.
In 2020, the ship will return to Singapore for the summer season over May and June, with 13 sailings of 3 to 5 nights to popular destinations in Southeast Asia.
