Coral Expeditions will launch new adventure itineraries to Tasmania to mark 10 years of expedition sailings to the Apple Isle for its 2026 season.
Intrepid travellers have a choice to go on various expedition adventures to discover Tasmania’s wild and pristine coast onboard Coral Discoverer which can only accommodate 72 passengers.

Sydney to Hobart – a 7-night itinerary departs Sydney on 26 December 2025.
To cash in on the popular Sydney to Hobart annual yachting race, travellers can book a 7-night itinerary which departs Sydney on Boxing Day, 26 December 2025. They will experience the competing sailing fleet tear through Sydney Heads on its way to Tasmania where they will mark New Year celebrations in Hobart’s Constellation docks. The cruise will also visit Maria Island and Adventure Bay on Bruny Island. Prices start from $5570pp.
Wild Escape Tasmania – a 4-night cruise departs Hobart on 2 January 2026.
Guests will be able to experience the best of Tasmania from nature walks in Maria Island, the Freycinet and Bruny Island and spot rare wildlife. They can also go kayaking through some tranquil bays and experience the island’s array of fresh produce and wine.
Scenic Walks of Tasmania – 7-night itinerary departs Hobart on 6 January 2026.
You can go bird-watching, hiking and kayaking to discover Tasmania’s remote national parks and islands. They will be able to spot wombats, wallabies, endemic birds and other wildlife when they go hiking on Maria Island. They will also be able to go on a hike from Fortescue Bay to Cape Hay when walking in the Tasman National Park. Prices start from $6230pp.
Circumnavigation of Tasmania – a 14-night cruise departs Hobart on 13 January and 26 February 2026.
Nature lovers can soak up the rich heritage and tastes of Tasmania when they explore Launceston, Port Arthur and Maria Island.
