There aren’t many among us who can boast about having celebrity godparents – let alone four of them – but Princess Cruises’ newest ship has just that.

Four television stars will unite on 29 April 2022 to name the Discovery Princess – Princess Cruises’ newest ship.

John Padgett, Princess Cruises’ president says of the event: “Bringing together these four experts and personalities to name Discovery Princess for the launch of our newest ship is an exciting moment for Princess.

“Our impressive godparents, who represent the best in food, style, wonder and exploration, bring their imaginative and inspirational talents together to celebrate this momentous occasion. We look forward to exploring what we all can do together in the future.”

The star-studded line up includes:

Randy Fenoli – American television presenter, fashion designer and most notably the host of Say Yes to the Dress.

Chef Alex Guarnaschelli – world-renowned French chef whose career led her from La Varenne Culinary School in Burgundy to a lucrative TV career on America’s Food Network and the author of three cookbooks.

Adam Savage – special effects designer and fabricator, well known for hosting the Emmy-nominated TV series Mythbusters and currently the Editor-in-Chief and lead content creator at Tested.com.

Page Turner – expert entrepreneur and real estate extraordinaire sits atop her industry with the hit HGTV show Fix My Flip, owner of two production companies and the author of The G.O. Life.

The four personalities will unite to name the sixth and final Royal-Class newbuild, which had its debut in Los Angeles on 27 March and sailed the California Coast and Mexican Riviera until 24 April.

After the naming ceremony, the Discovery Princess will head up America’s Pacific Coast to commence a season of seven-day Alaska cruises from Seattle.
