Set to start sailing in November, Celebrity Ascent will become the newest Celebrity Cruises ship. The fourth vessel in Celebrity’s Edge series, the new vessel will be based out of South Florida for its inaugural 2023-2024 season.

The ship will head out to a range of destinations across the Caribbean including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands and more, before spending its first summer in the Mediterranean, paying visits to Greece, Italy, Turkey, Spain and more.

Celebrity Ascent is set to pack in over 30 choices for food and beverages, staterooms with increased spaciousness and accessibility and maintain the outward-facing design of other Edge series ships.

If guests want to be one of the first to sail can they can opt for a four-night Western Caribbean Voyage on November 22 later this year, or a three-night Bahamas getaway on November 26.

Looking further ahead to the Med, this nine-night Italian Riviera and France itinerary or this 12-night Best of Greece and Italy sailing may suit you better.

New dining and drinking additions include a redesign of the Le Voyage restaurant by Daniel Boulud to create a more intimate dining experience, a plant-based tasting menu at Eden restaurant, a brand-new Le Petit Chef Dinner, specialised bourbon offerings and tastings and a range of new Martinis at the Martini Bar.

The main dining room will also get a revamp, with the Cosmopolitan restaurant getting a champagne-inspired new look. The AquaClass restaurant Blu will also be home to a new outdoor terrace, with 24 spaces for those who want to eat with a sea breeze.

There’s also several new entertainment experiences, including live music and DJs bringing nightlife to the Resort Deck, a promise of three brand new theatre shows, a new layout and colour scheme for the casino and Art Gallery, as well as the Sunset Collection by Nate Berkus, providing a curated collection of travel and home accessories.
