Carnival has released Carnival Splendor’s schedule for the 2027/28 season, with a clear highlight being sailings between Sydney and Singapore.
Carnival Splendor will go into dry dock in August 2027, and a revamped ship won’t be the only bonus for Aussies, they’ll also get the chance to hop on a sailing from Australia to Asia or vice versa.
On July 31, 2027, Carnival Splendor will sail a 15-day sailing from Sydney to Singapore, which starts from just $1509, hitting that magical $100 a night mark.
The cruise will visit Moreton Island, Airline Beach, Cairns, Lombok and Benoa before ending up in Singapore.

Then, after a refurbishment, Splendor will make her way back to Australia on September 1, sailing for 16 nights back to Sydney, starting from just $1694 or $106 per night. The return cruise will have a similar itinerary, visiting Lombok, Benoa, Darwin, Cairns, Airlie Beach and Moreton Island on the way to Sydney.
These dry dock adjacent cruises offer a great chance for a different type of itinerary for Aussies who are regular cruises and are tired of sailing to the same destinations. They also offer a great chance to combine a cruise with some land travel in Asia.
The rest of Splendor’s itineraries are more or less how you’d expect, with sailings to Queensland, the South Pacific and New Zealand, plus a total of 33 shorter cruises, of four days or less.
Prices have been kept low, with plenty available in the range of $125 or less per night
Here’s what else is worth noting about Splendor’s new itineraries.
- All cruises (excluding the cruise out of Singapore) are out of Sydney.
- There are plenty of three-night getaway cruises on offer, starting from $464.
- There’s a four-night getaway cruise that runs over New Year’s Eve 2027/28, starting from $854.
