Aurora Expeditions has unveiled 21 amazing voyages across 22 countries for 2027.

From the sun-soaked Mediterranean, the African coast to Central America, Aurora will take travellers to the heart of each destination.

“Our new season goes beyond cruising – it’s storytelling at sea,” said Katie Malone, CMO of Aurora Expeditions. “Whether it’s a wine tasting in Bordeaux, tracing Viking sagas in Scandinavia, standing on the battlegrounds of Culloden or visiting Prince Albert’s private car garage in Monaco, every voyage connects travellers to history, culture and community in a way that only small ships can.”

Aurora has two, purpose-built, small ships, Greg Mortimer and Sylvia Earle, which can accommodate 130 passengers each. Its third ship, Douglas Mawson, will debut in December 2025. On board are acclaimed historians, art and culture experts who will lead the ship’s storytelling sessions.

Shore excursions offer a selection of immersive experiences where guests can tailor their visits to World Heritage sites, discover the olive groves in Istria, or participate in wine tastings.

Highlights of the Aurora’s new itineraries include:

  • Valletta to Barcelona – to discover the Mediterranean’s rich culinary culture. Guests will visit local markets, family-run vineyards and coastal kitchens.
  • Nice to Rome – guests will be able to trace the romance of the French and Italian Rivieras from Tuscany to Rome with exclusive visits to Prince Albert’s private collection of cars in Monaco.
