MSC Lirica

MSC Lirica was launched in 2003 and refurbished in 2015. It has 10 passenger decks and a capacity for 1,984 guests and 720 crew. Decorated in a Mediterranean style, the ship is elegant and comfortable. It attracts young couples and solo travellers and families with children of all ages who enjoy the entertainment and choices offered by a resort-style ship.

Accommodation

There are 992 cabins in five categories: Suite, Balcony, Ocean View, Outside with Partial View and Interior. Two prestige cabins, Fantastica and Aurea, are also available. Five cabins are wheelchair accessible. All cabins have air-conditioning, bathroom with shower, Wi-Fi (for a fee), television, telephone, mini-bar and safe. Suites have private balconies and bath tubs.

Food

La Bussola and L’Ippocampo are the main formal dining rooms and have two seatings for dinner. Other dining options are La Pergola for pizza, pasta burgers and cafe fare, Jia Yao for Chinese dishes, Kaito sushi bar and Le Bistrot buffet. There are also five bars and lounges on board: L’’Atmosphere, Beverly Hills Bar, The Coffee Corner, La Canzone del Mare Bar and the Lord Nelson Pub.

Activities

The Aurea Spa offers a wide range of treatments and also has a hairdressing salon. The Aurea Fitness Centre has a full range of gym equipment. There are two pools, a power-walking track, shuffleboard, mini-golf and a solarium.

Families

There are various venues on board for children and teenagers. A baby club, juniors’ club, mini club and teens’ club provide age-appropriate spaces and activities. There is also a a spray pool and virtual-reality games room.
