Celebrity Chef Luke Nguyen will be the star attraction when he joins APT for an exclusive sailing on the Kimberley.
Following on from his successful APT cruises on the waterways of Asia, Luke now joins the line to explore the remote beauty of the Kimberley by small ship and 4WD on a 13-day tour.
The itinerary includes an overnight in Kununurra, an eight-night cruise on the 110-guest MS Island Sky and two nights at APT’s exclusive Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge.
Departing on June 27, 2020, Mr Nguyen will be joining the whole tour and host most of the lunches and dinners.
He will also be on the Lido deck, cooking behind the wok burner station. Another dining highlight hosted by Luke is a special three-course open-air feast at the Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge.
The trip begins and ends in Kununurra, soon to be served by new direct flights from Melbourne, with both 13-day and nine-day itinerary options.
Cruise highlights include travelling by Zodiac to the edge of the 80-metre King George Falls, viewing the astonishing sight of Montgomery Reef emerging from the sea as the tide recedes, and heading by fast boat through the amazing spectacle of the Horizontal Falls.
There is also an optional helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls for a unique view of the spectacular landscape. The trip’s land component features a detailed exploration of Purnululu National Park and the iconic Bungle Bungle Range.
Prices for the 13-day itinerary start from $11,495 pp.
