They are among the world’s most luxurious sailings, published in advance so their discerning passengers can choose the best destinations and cabins.

Now Cruise Passenger Luxury has dissected the new itineraries so our readers can compare the best of the best…with each other.

Regent Seven Seas and Crystal Cruises were the first to release their full 2021/22 itineraries. Seabourn Cruises has also released its full 2021/22 list for its first expedition ship, but has yet to release full itineraries for its five other vessels.

Both Seabourn and Crystal Cruises are debuting their new adventure ships in 2021, offering intrepid itineraries all over the world. Regent Seven Seas also have their newly launched Seven Seas Splendor sailing the 2021/22 itineraries. Silversea Cruises on the other hand, has only released itineraries up to May 2021.

Regent Seven Seas have 146 voyages and 27 new ports of call. Guests will also be able to get access to newly announced UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Japan, Portugal and Italy.

The Seabourn Venture has 25 itineraries exploring the Arctic and Northern Europe, the Americas, Antarctica and The Amazon. Her sailings take guests to places from the only growing glacier in Patagonia to the home of the largest colony of black-browed albatross.

Closer to home, guests can get on the Crystal Endeavor as it sails local itineraries as well as Asia, in addition to the Aleutian Isles, the Northeast Passage, Norwegian Fjords, the Scottish Isles and more.

Crystal Cruises has nine maiden calls in 2021 and five more in 2022, with an increased selection in Asia as well as new Ireland and Holy Land itineraries.

Europe Mediterranean

Monemvasia, Greece

Regent Seven Seas will be making maiden calls to exclusive ports in Greece such as Monemvasia, Igoumenitsa and Chios, Nessebar, Bulgaria, Paphos Cyprus and Pergamum (Dikili) in Turkey. The Seven Seas Splendor will be in the region from April 2021 and the Voyager, Mariner will complete the rest of the season till November. The sailings depart Barcelona, Rome, Istanbul, Athens, Venice and Monte Carlo.

The Crystal Serenity and Symphony will be sailing the Mediterranean in 2021/22 from March to October, with maiden port visits in Le Lavandou, France and Marina di Carrara, Italy in 2022.

The Seabourn Venture will kick off its maiden season in 2021 in Northern Europe and the Arctic. The pre-inaugural is a 10-day ‘Highlights of the English Channel’ departing July 5, 2021. It is followed by a 12-day inaugural “Northern Isles & The Viking Homeland” voyage from Greenwich to Tromso, Norway, departing July 15, 2021. The new destinations that the ship will visit include Scoresby Sound and Sermilik Fjord in Greenland, sailing along the edge of the North Polar ice cap as well as Pond Inlet in Nunavut, home to narwhals and belugas and a million nesting birds at Bylot Island.

The ship returns in April 2022 to sail Western Europe from Praia, Ilha de Santiago, Cape Verde, to Greenwich, England, including stops at the Canary Islands, Morocco, Portugal, France and Belgium.

Baltic/Northern Europe

Wismar, Germany

Regent Seven Seas have itineraries sailing Northern Europe from April to September 2021, with sailings to new ports from June 2021. The new ports include Dunerque, France; Eskifjordur, Iceland; Kaliningrad, Russia; Klasvik, Denmark; Liepaja, Latvia; Nordfjordeid, Norway; Oban, Scotland; Ronne, Denmark; Turku, Finland and Wismar, Germany.

The Seven Seas Splendor will be sailing from Monte Carlo, London, Copenhagen, Oslo, Amsterdam and Stockholm for the season, along with the Voyager and Navigator from June to August.

Silversea has Silver Cloud sailing London to Reykjavik on a 17-day itinerary in June 2021. It visits Britanny, Honfluer, London, the Isles of Scilly, Scotland and more.

Europe Novelty

Shetland Islands

The Crystal Endeavor will be sailing a 28-night Northeast Passage, which departs in August from Russia and heads for Tromso, Norway. The ship will also be exploring the Atlantic Isles on an 18-day itinerary in October 2021, sailing across Portugal, Spain, Cape Verde Islands, Senegal, Gambia and Brazil.

The ship is also offering a ‘Norwegian Fjords and Scottish Isles Exploration’ in September 2021, visiting the Norwegian coastline as well as the Shetland and Orkney Islands and Edinburgh before concluding in London.

Asia

Banda Neira, Indonesia

Regent Seven Seas has the Seven Seas Explorer sailing Southeast Asia and East Asia destinations like Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan. The line will be visiting two new ports in Japan, Nagoya and Naze (Oshima Island), with the Seven Seas Mariner in Asia mid March to sail from Singapore to Dubai. The Seven Seas Explorer then resumes Asian sailings in September to November as well as February to April in 2022.

The Crystal Endeavor will be sailing in South East Asia in April 2021 before visiting East Asian destinations such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan in May. In 2021 Crystal Cruises will have six other voyages exploring Southeast Asia aboard Crystal Symphony, while the Crystal Serenity sails in China and Japan. Symphony will be making her maiden call in Banda Neira and Ambon, Indonesia in 2021 and in 2022 she heads to Bawang for the first time in Bali, Indonesia.

The newly debuted Silver Muse as well as Silver Spirit will be sailing seven voyages each in Asia between September 2020 and May 2021. This includes a 15-day roundtrip on Silver Muse which circumnavigates Honshu, Japan’s largest island and also explores Kanazawa, Niigata, Akita, Aomori, Hakodate and more.

Middle East and Africa

Dubai, UAE

The Seven Seas Mariner and Voyager will be sailing two to three week-long itineraries in the region in April, October, November and December of 2021. In 2022, the Seven Seas Explorer will come in to sail the region. The 2021/22 sailings departs Dubai, Rome, Abu Dhabi, and Cape Town.

Crystal Cruises also has 2021 itineraries visiting the Arabian Gulf and India on board Crystal Serenity.

North America

Bequia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Silversea’s Silver Whisper will sail Fort Lauderdale to Bridgeotwn, Barbados on a 10-voyage in November 2020 to visit ports like San Juan, Jost Van Dyke, St. John’s, Fort-de-France, Mayreau, St. George’s, and Bequia.

The Silver Moon will be sailing Central and South America between January and April in 2021. This includes four Fort Lauderdale roundtrips.

The Crystal Endeavor will be sailing a series of itineraries in Alaska, The Aleutian Isles and the Inside Passage from June to early August 2021. This includes a 19-night sailing that spans across the Russian Far East and the Aleutian Isles. It sets off from Otaru, Japan and concludes in Anchorage in Alaska.

Seven Seas Mariner in Skagway, Alaska

The Crystal Serenity will also be making a return to Alaska with seven sailings from seven to 11-nights in the 2022 summer season.

Regent Seven Seas’ Seven Seas Explorer will be making 19 Alaska sailings from May to mid September in 2021, and they are mostly week-long. The Seven Seas Mariner will then start to sail the Alaskan itineraries in May 2022. The Seven Seas Navigator will be sailing Canada, New England and Bermuda in September and October. They are between 10 to 12-nights, departing New York or Montreal, with overnights in Quebec City.

South America

Ushuaia, Argentina

The Crystal Endeavor will be sailing South American itineraries in October and early November and spending the rest of the year exploring the Antarctic with sailings departing from Ushuaia, Argentina.

Regent Seven Seas has two new ports in Brazil, Natal and Fortaleza as well as Laguna san Rafael in Chile. The Seven Seas Voyager will be sailing most of the South American itineraries in January to April 2021. The Navigator returns in November and the sailings begin featuring the new ports. The Voyager then returns in January to March 2022 to sail a range of itineraries. The sailings depart, Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago and Lima. Itineraries in early 2021 and 2022 also feature free two or three-night land programme.

The Silver Moon moves on to explore South America in the later half of her American deployment in 2021. This includes a 22-day itinerary in March, sailing from Callao to Buenos Aires.

The Seabourn Venture heads south in October 2021, with stops at various exotic locales in Bermuda, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. This includes new locations such as the Pio XI Glacier in the Chilean Fjords, which is the only glacier in Patagonia that is growing, the Jorge Montt Glacier in the Southern Patagonian Ice Field as well as an overnight in Puerto Natales featuring a lookout from the top of Dorotea Hill.

The ship also returns between March and April 2022 to sail in the Amazon on a series of five seven- to 12-day expeditions. It features visits to the Flooded Forests and Blackwater Tributaries, The Frontier Amazon and The Seaport in the Jungle from Leticia to Iquitos, Peru.

Caribbean

St Barts

The Seven Seas Splendor continues her sailings in the Caribbean in 2021/22 after her debut late 2020. The Western and Eastern Caribbean sailings are available from January to May 2021 and December 2021 to March 2022. The seven to 14-night itineraries are also found on the Navigator and Mariner.

The Crystal Serenity will be offering fall and winter sailings through the Panama Canal, Costa Rica and Caribbean Islands in 2021/22, visiting ports like St. Kitts; St. Barts; St. Lucia; Grand Cayman; Puerto Limón and more. Sailings start from October 2021 to Jan 2022 and in August, November and December 2022. In 2022, the ship will also be making a maiden call in Jamaica.

Silversea has Silver Shadow sailing in the Caribbean in January, departing from San Juan or Fort Lauderdale.

Australia/New Zealand/South Pacific

Whangarei Head in New Zealand

Crystal Cruises’ first expedition ship Crystal Endeavor, which will be debuting in 2020, begins 2021 with itineraries exploring the South Island of New Zealand, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania. Crystal Endeavor departs Hobart, Melbourne, Christchurch (Lyttelton) and Perth (Fremantle). The ship will then leave local waters in early April.

The Seven Seas Explorer and Mariner sail between Sydney and Auckland as well as Sydney and Bali on itineraries that are two-weeks and longer. There are sailings in January and February 2021 and December 2021 to January 2022. The line is making maiden calls in Port Arthur, Tasmania and Whangarei in New Zealand.

The Seven Seas Navigator will be sailing most of the Papeete roundtrip itineraries, available from January to March 2021. The Mariner will also be visiting the Pacific Islands on her Lima to Auckland itinerary departing January 21, 2021.

The Silver Muse will be sailing around AU/NZ between October 2020 and March 2021. Sydney to Auckland voyages from December 2020 to February 2021 will also feature stops in the Pacific Islands.

The Seabourn Sojourn will be sailing the South Pacific in February 2021 and also Australia’s coral coast in March, which are shorter segments of the world cruise.The ship will spend 27-day sailing the Pacific Island itinerary, which departs from Papeete and arrives in Sydney. The 21-day coral coast sailing departs Sydney and arrives in Denpasar, Bali.

Antarctica

The Crystal Endeavor will also be making an Antarctica sailing in January 2021, a 22-night Ross Sea expedition that departs Hobart to explore Antarctica. The also returns to the Antarctic in November and December 2021, but the 11 to 15-day sailings depart Ushuaia, Argentina.

The Seabourn Venture will offer nine itineraries in the Antarctic continent and islands in November 2021, ranging from 11 to 22-days. The ship will visit locations like Falkland Islands, Saunders Island and Steeple Jason Island, which is home to the largest colony of black-browed albatrosses and many other wildlife, and many more.
